Thanks! I actually came back to change “dolled up” to “dressed up” because I felt that gave a better impression of the moment. There’s something almost comical about a daffodil smiling brightly in two inches of snow.

There was a lot of daffodil last week in my office, as some charity group was selling them all around the place. No hat of snow but they were still pretty. But without their roots, their beauty died fast… I thought about writing a poem about them but I forgot…

Daffodils are truly my favorite flowers ever. No daffodils in Mexico, however. Many daffodils in Oregon, from whence I come.
