Seriously, folks . The whole 24-hours-in-a-day thing is really getting in the way of all the stuff I want to do. Need. More. Hours.
I want to write, it grounds me. But I also feel this crazy pressure to make them all “good”, which completely defeats the purpose of haikuing it in the first place, no?
Oh, yay! A new haiku! I have missed them so. No pressure from me. I love them all. One thought for you….life is sometimes mundane and unremarkable so it makes sense that our writing sometimes mirrors this. Letting out the haiku you don’t consider good makes way for the ones that knock our socks off.

Hooray! You’re back. I’ve missed your haikuing.
Well…….if we obsess about the perfect haiku, will it keep us from obsessing about something else? Or does it just get added to the list?
